Let me say what another awesome day! Today was one of those "off the chain" kind of days at LifeBridge. We had a great 7:00 meeting followed by some incredible worship music. That led into honoring Mothers and celebrating womanhood.
I had the opportunity today to in front of the church to honor a woman that has truly helped me to become the man I am today. My Mother! She is an incredible woman who has shown me what the true example of perserverance is all about.
She has taught me so many things in life, that I will be forever grateful for. My mother is a cancer survivor. Notice I did not say, a woman with cancer. See, she is not, by the grace of God going to allow this disease to effect her life.
I have watched her over the years, faithfully, every week show up for her chemo treatments and I have never once, heard her complain. I often tell people, that when I am having one of those "feeling sorry about me days" I just look at the example of my mother and realize that I have nothing worth complaining about.
I thank God, every day for the woman He has allowed to be my mother. I would not be who I am today if it were not for her guidance and support. I pray that as you may read this, you would take the time to reflect on the time you may have had with your mother, or call her and just say "Thanks"!
